G. Angus Fraser papers, 1890-1953.

Chiefly material relating to Mr. Fraser's tenure on the North Dakota Board of State Capitol Commissioners which oversaw construction of the new state capitol building in 1931-1932. The few personal items include his diary (1898-1899) of military service and annotated copy of Rudyard Kipling's Soldiers Three while serving in the Philippines, material on his great-grandfather Simon Fraser, biographical interview, Mr. Fraser's history of the North Dakota reserve forces mobilization in 1917 and construction of Camp Grafton, N.D., and copies of the Pinkerton report dealing with the attempt to establish the Louisiana Lottery in North Dakota in 1890. Includes some Fraser family genealogical information. Separated material includes photographs of capitol building construction in Bismarck, N.D.
